I knew we were going to need a solution in case we fell into the cold water from the kayak when we went to Alaska. We wanted to kayak in the lakes, rivers, and possibly the glacial bays. After reading reviews, we determined that we wanted a drysuit over a wetsuit for our trip to Alaska.

This full-body drysuit was very comfortable. The neck was tight initially, but we quickly got used to it. We were able to wear the drysuit all day long with no discomfort.

We wore warm clothes under the drysuit. We walked into the rivers at least up to waist high and we did not get wet or cold.

With the drysuits on, we no longer had the fear of the cold water and we really enjoyed kayaking anywhere we wanted in Alaska. We don’t know if we’ll have any need to use these in the lower 48 states, but if the opportunity or need ever arises, we’re ready!

Alaska would have not been the same without this suit. We truly enjoyed being able to kayak around glaciers,  icebergs, and rivers.
